Bitcoin (BTC) Mid-Day Update: ABC Likely Complete; $9,451 likely Next Target

in bitcoin •  7 years ago  (edited)

SUMMARY

This morning I had posted the below chart stating that likely Bitcoin (BTC) is in process of putting in a minor, corrective abc waves and that wave C would probably sit on the former resistance of the top line of the wedge.

Price action to current shows that after touching the now support line, Bitcoin has bounced and is now rising and likely to put in higher highs. I believe hitting the $9,451 level would be most ideal!

Haejin is giving us hope and you are balancing with reality. 😀

Confirm this with MACD, ooops.? The 5 sub-waves on the C leg is more likely already in.

Is making bear calls the cool thing to do right now? Wow. Much Contrarians. It certainly shows how disciplined you are and how much you're in control of your emotions during a correction ahahaha

In that case, here's my primary:

Actually that would be a 1,2,3,4,5 not an ABCDE correction. What you are drawing there is more of an Ending Diagonal which is a 12345 count. Just sayin'

You just can’t hack people who disagree with you can you. Very mature attitude you’ve got there.

somebody who is paying attention.

yeah i think this is possible

Is it possible for wave B to be Zigzag ? As this B is 535.

BCH/USD buy ladders

Good to see it trending up. As long as we see volatility in the stock markets, that should be great for cryptos.

$9,451 is too much. Likely next target is $9k or a little more. [Personal opinion]

I'm with you. Price would have to go up over a relatively long time frame to reach $9451 upper red line he shows in the graph from morning update or the upper why line in the current update.

It will hit $10k by end of next week. Positive news starting to come through and people are beginning to buy again. I still think Ethereum is the better buy though (personal opinion)

Starts dropping😂. Maybe btc can't cross $9k😂.

i think u r right

bitcoin next target is $10k and up going

Thank you Haejin!

Lol the number's aren't random you don't just get to draw a number from [Personal opinion] I mean you can do whatever you want but that's not Technical Analysis, and this is a TA blog.

i think this dude is on the dope.

I saw this. But I think it will rise again a little.
I saw your blog. I appriciate your analysis. But you have to remember one thing, Cryptocurrency is unpredictable.

Nice post...
Thank for sharing information...

no words... just WTF?

1

i may be wrong..... but... don't think so...

andddd you’re wrong

i'm sorry but it seems i'm not

your 4 overlaps your 1. so nope

mmm NO

2

I agree with you. I think that bitcoin will keep going up again. Those people who did not buy on the dip will be sorry and feel that they have missed out. But that will just be because they never believe in bitcoin.

  ·  7 years ago (edited)

Your post is insulting. Not everyone has $1000 of dollars to invest or they may already be fully invested and have no powder. Be kinder...

You have totally misunderstood what I meant. I do not have $10,000 to invest nor would I invest $10,000 in bitcoin right now. I said buy on dips, that means if you can buy $10 then do, if you can buy $20 do. Whatever amount you invest now, you will see a return on your money. I am kind, you just read else from my post. I am not an investment advisor so I would never tell anyone to invest $10,000. Please re-read my post for clarification. Hope this helps @rjh

Hahahaha absolutely every serious analysts is predicting 4000-5000 in a few days and you are here with your bullish fake analysis... same happens all the time

6000 target

after 6000 -----> 4000$

Thank you for your post haejin!

I've noticed you put resistance line (the one we've broke yesterday) lower than other analysts. I mean the line going from 17k which is the support line now.

So what is the reason to draw this line lower and intercept price at 12-13k on 28th Jan?

That higher one connects to the tallest peak. That would be my next resistance line. For the wedge, I don' connect the upper line to the tallest peak.

It's going to hover around this price for a while yet.

Everyone is an expert on chart reading....if I get dime for every-time I hear it, I will be rich. I wish I have a crystal ball. I think I am gonna go with cindicator prediction.

Haejin in my opinion it is difficult to predict the movement of the price in a short period of time. You must be a very experienced trader to play on such a time frame. Especially when you play with leverage.

I don't use leverage through margin. I don't trade in these short terms. My short degree of trend chart is only for larger wave detailing subwaves. I trade on the higher daily degree of trend (intermediate to primary)

It's quite ambiguous yes, I hope after 20 years of TA you'd pick some things up though

Your faith in a guy you’ve never met and likely know next to nothing about and who your most solid evidence for his experience is his own word is incredible.

But my question is why all the banks both in america and uk stopped using their credit card to purchase bitcoin ?

Yeah, I found that out right at the $6000 mark. Really bad timing on their part if they are trying to protect their own investments

Latest Update: Indian Govt is taking all kind of actions to take down bitcoin transaction. It will definitely affect bitcoin price.. Alert

Don't agree on this one. Declining volume and macd tumbling over. Going for a retest of the bottom.

always on mark
thanks sir for share

Very good analysis and is a very realistic target. Let's see what happens.

  ·  7 years ago (edited)

It will go down further. $9450 is too much. I think it will remain aroung $8000 - $9000. What do you think about LTC (litecoin)...??

It will hit $10k by end of next week. Positive news starting to come through and people are beginning to buy again. I still think Ethereum is the better buy though (personal opinion)

Thanks Mr. Lee.
Let the bulls run as San Fermín.

Great post master. Very helpful

Bravo! Good foresight!
If it's completed, will rise? Whats next?

The market has been so up and down since I've been into Crypto. It's hard to follow and understand it all. Thanks you for breaking it down some what that I can follow.

Cryptos are very volatile to bad news, even if the news are fake eg South Korea bans Cryptos etc.
New tech, electronic, small but growing communities, questions surrounding regulation and or lack thereof, hacks and thefts etc. etc.
We are part of something big but in the grand scale of things it is still a baby. Our advantage is that we are here and we know about crypto and we continue to learn.

I don't agree about Bitcoin hitting the $9,451. It's very hard to guess what the price will go in couple days. The price now it's only $7 948,84.

this is also a possible count (from @philakone)

i think this is also possible

Interesting article! Checkout @cryptobroye for more bitcoin info and analysis. Im sure there's a lot we can learn from each other!

thanks~

i think the pull back will continue. we need new money for the price to go up.
its a good time to be buying.

https://steemit.com/cryptocuerency/@daveboss/the-bitcoin-going-to-0-theory

I have one question gor everyone

Target 1 : $5700
Target 2 : $4000

Mark my Words

Judging by the charts now we are looking at a potential head and shoulders pattern. BTC topped out at 9064 yesterday. Its currently moving back up form the correction and am looking at it to hit he $8800 USD mark. This comes from the higher lower that was formed on the daily.

Will need to watch it closer on the 15 min time frame to see if we will get a higher high or another dip.

Thanks my opinion based on the 15m, 4hour and daily charts atm

I totally agree with you. the market has shown a rise. it has given positive hope to people. though one should expect both the good and the bad. the market is quite unpredictable. [personal opinion]

Thanks, but I also need the mouse pointer to select the menu options.

@haejin the mouse pointer is visible as soon as its hovered over a pop up or the side of the panel so you should be able to select the menu options just fine. These trolls on your page are ruthless! and no its not a virus, the code is self explanatory

$('td.chart-markup-table.pane')[0].setAttribute("style", "cursor:none");

  1. select all elements matching the class name td, chart-markup-table and pane
  2. [0] selects the first element that is returned. only one is returned anyways
  3. setattribute sets the cursor style for the attribute you just selected

This is elegant! Not quite a fix but certainly a satisfactory workaround! I use the stylish extension to modify tradingview to my liking already. Perhaps he could make this edit there instead.

thanks! i made this account just to tell @haejin that. He shares his knowledge with us freely so I'm happy to return the favor. Hopefully he gets the message. I considered suggesting a plugin but nothing beats a one liner!

Hey thanks a lot. I’ll try it.

Hey man i think you get a lot of undeserved hate and id like to extend an invitation to do an interview about steemit and we can even explain everything to my thousands of followers and how proof of stake works and how big teh reward pool really is and how its only going to grow and how what you make is a drop in the bucket compared to how much people will be making off steem in the next year and beyond!

I am going to start showing the benefits of your existence here to my nearly 6000 followers and how you are bringing so much attention to steem that your name even comes up in the Google Trends search for steemit in the TOP section of the r elated fields!

https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?q=steemit

Are you related t the famous South Korean Actor Park Haejin ? Seems like his name also comes up on the right? Man congrats for being s famous your showing up on the google trends page for steemit.com ! :D Man and steemit alexa ranking is in the top 600 fr US and top 1000 for world

@ackza can you please tell @haejin its not really a virus? he think you were serious and told his steemit followers to attack me in his morning video today

No, I’m not related to the actor. Haejin is usually a girls name in Korea but I guess my Father named me the same because maybe he liked daughters. Actually, names in Korean are often written in Chinese for meaning and family lineage.

How did you suspect that the mouse fix input was a Trojan? Thx

I would agree up until the point when he has to do it every time he opens the page. Also, I worry that it would hide the cursor for things like text input. But still a great diagnostic tool to decide whether to pursue it further.
