If you don't like Haejin's posts just mute him... I am muting you and other similar posts. it's easy.

Those bots do not have such option.

Hi @twernli, it's great that you commented to me. Built into the STEEM blockchain is a protection against reward pool abuse called a 'flag' which can be used for disagreement on rewards. This function enables the STEEM community to prevent abuse and scams by taking away potential rewards before the 7 day payout.

Many in this community disagree with @haejin's potential rewards as most of his rewards come from one account >> @ranchorelaxo. Because @haejin won't accept our disagreement of these potential rewards he conducts revenge flagging on small accounts simply because they are speaking out.

If you'd like to know more, I'm open to conversation.

Muting doesn't actually stop the problem. The issue isn't that we don't like his posts, we take issue with the fact that the vast majority of the rewards allocated to his posts are dedicated votes from himself and one other user. We are all (meaning every Steemian) voting on how much rewards each post gets. The act of downvoting is not an attack. It's a simple declaration that we believe that some portion of the current voted rewards would be better spent elsewhere. That sentiment shouldn't be punished. Nobody is entitled to any amount of rewards until the voting period has expired. Haejin is paid handsomely by the reward pool, but we are looking to allocate more rewards to the average user putting out good content.

Current Steemit "system" is build and works like that. Maybe you should fight with Steemit Inc. instead?

Not sure what you're talking about. If you're talking about the function of the rewards pool distribution, that's not steemit inc. as that's a function of the currency itself and would have to be changed via a hardfork and buy in from the 20+1 witnesses.

If you mean the mute function, I have no problem with that functionality and see it as a useful tool. I just don't see it as a solution to this current problem.

If you are calling our downvoting a fight, I think you might be getting the wrong picture. This is how Steem is supposed to work. It isn't fighting. We all have the ability to collectively decide where the funds in the reward pool go. We do that through positive voting and negative voting. the funds are not allocated until the end of that voting period. It's not fighting, we are just placing our votes.

My personal reason for voting this way is that I do not feel the rewards for these posts to be an accurate reflection of the community at large as the majority of their earnings come from two individuals and their current take has more than rewarded them for the content they produce and trend. Since 09 December, 2017, they have been rewarded, by conservative estimates, more than 492,318.47USD. That figure is based on the current SBD price which is about the lowest it has been during that timeframe. It also doesn't take into account that the percentage of SBD payout differed during that timeframe often paying as much as 85% SBD which would have made the USD dollar value of those much higher. It could easily be triple that number. .5 - 1.5 million in three months? Yeah, I think they've done pretty good for themselves.

It is hard to talk to a wall - when everybody listens only to themselves.

There was a limit invented so that there are only 10 powerful votes per day available. Everybody is using it and do not complain, but somehow you are different than others.

Fight with the root cause and not the consequences.

It is hard to talk to a wall - when everybody listens only to themselves.

Tell me about it. I feel I am addressing your concerns as you have communicated them to me. I couldn't really do that without trying to "listen" and understand the point you're trying to make.

Any limitation also applies to negative votes. They draw the same power. Many use it, including haejin. You seem to be telling me not to use my 10 votes a day. Are you?

I would call BTC the 'soul' of the crypto world. And the soul never dies.

It's Gold v2.0 or just digital gold.

It is the mothership ! ;)
