Proud Owner of a Shiny New Bitcoin

I just bought my first full bitcoin. I've been chipping away at it for the last 2 months since I really got interested but today I finally just ordered the rest to put me over one. Now to start chipping away at a second. I knew I had to get one before they split because I'd like to keep at least 1 coin on each track. I've heard so many conflicting reports on Bitcoin Cash that I figure it's worth holding both and seeing where they go.

I plan to start investing in Litecoin again now too. I transferred it all to Bitcoin and need to reload.

I see very blue skies ahead for all of us early adopters.

And if for some reason it doesn't pan out and I lose it all I will be completely fine with it because I would rather have taken a chance than be sitting her with regret.

Congrats! I've been doing the same, but I end up chipping away at my BTC to get the 'next big rising altcoin'. Though after a few weeks of choppy waters, I've settled down into a more conservative mindset of keeping only a small percentage of my crypto portfolio in altcoins.

Nice

I too went wild on altcoins and have since cut things back to—mostly—the ones I have a lot of faith in.

So easy to get caught up in them all.

Oh I can't tell you how much I've jumped around the last few months. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Golem etc. Finally though I decided I have to have a bitcoin and then I'll build up everything else once that's in place and I won't touch the bitcoin. It's kind of the approach you took with your video game collecting. Target the most expensive games first.

Hey! Congrats on collecting your first coin!

With the Bitcoin Cash fork coming up, you'd better either have that bitcoin in a private wallet of your own, or on a site that gives you both chains.

You can collect your first BCC for free, now. :D

Live long, and may your BTC prosper. :)

Yes, I have it in mycelium. This was one of the big reasons I made the plunge before August first. Seemed better to end up with both coins.

I have been down the same, trying to get back to at least 1 bitcoin. I had started with Bitcoin then got into the alt coins, any one remember DGB :( turned $600 into about $2400 in a couple weeks and now am -$100 plus.

My goal is 10 BTC with some ETH, DASH, LTC and HODL...

I don't know if I can get to 10 bitcoin but I commend your ambition. I'll settle for a few of them. Then I'm going to focus on the altcoins. I'll really focus on litecoin next, than ethereum stratis, golem etc.
