Last week I submitted a brief write up regarding IBM's blockchain and its recent success breaking into the financial industry in Europe. What is unique about IBM is the hyperledger blockchain does not come with a coin, require mining, and is already an established company with a long track record in tech.
Another company to watch make waves in the blockchain movement is the company Accenture. Accenture is one of the most well known consulting companies in the world with its hand in about every sector, simply domination. Accenture's financial services sector is well established and the fact that a new blockchain technology program has been established recently shows their commitment and belief that blockchain is the future of consulting in tech.
Accenture caused waves in late 2016 with plans to "Edit" the blockchain.
While Accenture's take on how the blockchain should work caused a stir in some crypto communities, the reputation of the company and its global success will allow some type of implementation of the blockchain at some level.
Will companies like IBM and ACCENTURE change the dynamics of the blockchain because of their established record?
