apologize for what? I've written a full blog post about capitalism, crisis and cryptocurrency. I used an image off google. You're just trolling because you made a blog post entirely of stock photos of Korea.
You complain when he takes stock photos from an app that allows you to take free photos. While you're taking images from Google. So don't get mad when he takes photos from a free photo taking app while you're doing the same. Hypocrite
My complaint was about blogging a series of stock photos of Korea. The problem wasn't that he took them from a stock photo website, but that the content was entirely derivative.
I'm using a photo commonly spread throughout the internet. I take no claim to the photo. A google image search of image shows the image have 22,000,000 hits. It's an opening image to an article.
I've posted a source for the image, and claim no ownership of it.
You can link things about copyright all you want. This particular image is widely dispensed throughout the internet, with 22,000,000 hits on an image search. As for the 'owner' of the image, at this point, it's debatable that there even is an original owner of it.
To say that I'm somehow breaking copyright, or plaigarising, is absurd. Even the TOS and FAQ for steemit state:
"If you are using an image that is not your own, make sure you are allowed to use the image, and cite the source of the image."
I've cited a source. An image that has 22,000,000 uses throughout the internet has no 'owner' and therefore I can't ask for permission.
What the real issue here is this: your ego is hurt because I called your post derivative (which it is). 'Photoqueen' also has their ego hurt because they also seem to only repost stock photos.
So instead of trying to harass me or blackmail me, why don't you spend your time making quality content, instead of trolling the people that do.
I'm contributing to the Steemit community. What about you?
I am not undervalue your effort buddy. Talking about copyrights issue. U just tackled on my posting. It is my problem, whether post hundreds of pictures with one comment. This comment will be here forever after 7days of posting. Remember.
