What are You Doing to Prepare for the Bitcoin Cash Hardfork?
There is a ton of confusion out there as to what time the Bitcoin Cash hard Fork is going to occur. This is straight from the Bitcoin Cash website.
2017-07-31 Notice on fork activation timing.
"Important note on the timing of Bitcoin Cash hard fork activation
The criterion for activation of the Bitcoin Cash hard fork activation is based on "Median Time Past", or MTP. This means that the chain split will not occur at exactly 12:20 UTC on Aug. 1st, but some time after.
MTP is a statistic calculated over 11 blocks, and trails behind wall clock time by about 6 blocks. This means that the last common block will be approximately the 6th block with a timestamp after 12:20pm. The block after that will be different on either chain.
Users attempting to split coins, and transact separately on the two networks should be aware of these details in order to properly identify the last common block, and the first post-split block."

Absolutely not a big fan of keeping my coins on any exchange. But the small amount of BTC I have is sitting in Bittrex, solely for the purpose of free BTC cash. Now what I do with that BTC cash is still undecided. But I'm the hodl'ing type so I would bet it'll be stashed away for some time until the dust clears.

This post read my mind! I am #2.... I moved all my btc to Kraken, as Kraken will allow trading of Bcash pairs BCH/USD and BCH/BTC right after the fork. I'll be watching closely. Another steemer noted that if btc keeps climbing overnight and Bcash goes down, it may be smart to sell of btc and buy back once it drops. I am considering that as well. Happy fork everyone!

You can bet nobody will be selling bitcoin but a lot of people are after the "free cash" of BCC, so there will be a massive sell-off, but it will rebound. I don't think it will be a dead cat since BCC has much support -- and I think watching the network stats closely will help determine the price.

This is not what I planned but it is what it is. My email provider has had issues for days and I am unable to log in because of the server. Hence I do not receive the 2FA code to log into the exchange. The exchange's customer service is slower than slow for whatever reason. I am being nice and not mentioning names but all this is frustrating to say the least. Hopefully everything will be fine when the dust settles.
