Dear Friends, Today we will discuss whether trading volume you see on different platforms is true or fake?
We are in crypto, then we must be using any tool to analyze the market what is going on, volume, price of every coin.
Is information on Coinmarketcap real?

Most of the crypto traders use coinmarketcap to keep updated about cryptocurrency markets which give us all the information we need, like total Market capitalization, 24-hour volume, BTC dominance all of the stuff but wait is data shown on coinmarketcap is trustworthy?
If we believe some reports which came recently a large percentage of total volume of crypto is FAKE yes you heard right.
According to a report submitted to US Securities and Exchange Commission(SEC) by bitwise 95 % of volume across the market is fake only 10 out of the top 81 exchanges seems to have real volumeThese are
- Binance
- Bitfinex
- Krakren
- Bitstamp
- coinbase
- bitFlyer
- Gemini
- itBit
- Bittrex
- Poloneix
BTI Report
There is another report submitted by Blockchain Transparency Institute(BTI) with similar objectives as Bitwise to identify the false trading volume. The report by BTI is more clear based on machine learning algorithms. Data shows wash trade volume. According to BTI report around 88% of daily volume trade is not real. Zebi coin was having wash trade 94.37 .
Many exchanges are BTI verified like upbit, liquid, gate.io,bittrex , this is what is expected if the exchange has nothing to hide then why they wouldn't get verified by BTI but most shocking to see that exchanges like Binanace, Bitfinex are not verified this definitely a question?
Conclusion
So these reports are very alarming, largest crypto market analysis platform coinmarketcap is giving us false data and binance has many things to hide which impacts daily trade.
