Get out of KeepKey ? Keepkeys big announcement & KeepKeys are back on Amazon - my KeepKey Review

So for those of us who had stored our Bitcoin on the cold storage wallet KeepKey we did it with the expectation that we would be also receiving an equivalent amount of Bitcoin Cash at the time of the known fork on Aug. 1st - by this point virtually everyone knew about the fork - and many companies and people had to make the decision to take part in it or not - like Coin Base for example - they clearly stated that they wouldn't support the new chain and advised anyone who wished to claim their Bitcoin Cash to take their tokens out of the exchange and appropriate them to the wallets that will honor the new chain - such as trezor and the main topic of today, KeepKey

• Now this caused a huge problem with those of us in the KeepKey community - though Keepkey had already stated that they would support the new chain and that we can rest easy during this new frontier - however the lack of communication has left many of us with a sour taste in our mouth - check Reddit you can see it all there, lol

now given that the fork was not new news - it's still takes the company several weeks to catch up to the game where we can actually use and exchange these new tokens - how they created a beta version that you can get in the chrome app store , and it will update your firmware and when all is said and done, you'll be able to view your BCH balance.

that's nice and all but doesn't mean a whole lot when we can't do anything about it

now from here you can see why so many people got butt hurt and bent out of shape - and a lot of cases where people just shoved their nose up and raged their way over to trezor or nano - which is fine, i can see what a problem it is if you had ALOT of BCH to turn out and make a quick win - but the probability of anyone capable of selling at the high within that first 24 hours was incredibly low and very few of us made out like bandits.

I personally was OK with this - i was curious to see how well it would do in the coming week/months

on the other side - within the last week price has gone back near that high so many of us who laid in the bed we made aren't feeling that FOMO issues with all the hype - gotta try and keep emotion out of it guys!

ALSO given the company was in the middle of a merger / acquisition with ShapeShift i can see this being a bad time - but I also don't think this was done with any malicious intent, just bad timing - and that they truly truly want to provide us a quality product and service hence why it's taking even more time than most peoples patience thresholds

I mean can you imagine how much MORE upset you'd be if they just rolled out without worrying about quality of work - and getting an insanely buggy poor working platform just to shut everyone up? seriously think about that - you have to give them an A for trying to keep to a quality standard

THOUGH I do agree with most everybody in the communication department could have been more ready and available for us .

The Other good thing that really came out of this big Aug 16th announcement is that KeepKeys are now BACK IN STOCK! so i hardly believe this company will be dead, even if they're a little behind the game, they're getting product back out there and i might still consider getting more -

It'd be nice to get a sweet discount for those of us who stuck by KeepKey and their transitions! HINT HINT COUGH COUGH :)**
