I was thinking it'd be nice since I give people's books, to also write on the first page a paper wallet seed.

And also instructions to download a light wallet, like Bread.
And then I'd load it up with some Bitcoin (around the value of $100 by when I wrap the gifts).
All handwritten my friends are gonna love it, also takes the whole "you really gave me money for the holidays?" thing out. What do you think?
