I think there will be services where you will get paid just to use them like $STEEM or $BAT and thereby I think the rewards of the large market cap companies like Facebook and all these advertising giants will be distributed in real time to users. Therefore, I believe it WILL be more egalitarian. The value of a network will eventually be = to the amount of activity on a network and what you provide to it. Today Bitcoin is King because of first mover advantage but don't believe it always will be.
