Greetings Steemians!!!

It's been almost a year since I have been on Steemit, and I have earned enough currency, that I actually bought a physical object that was delivered to my house yesterday!

It was an amazing experience! This currency appeared out of thin air - practically - me just sharing my self here on Steemit - I did not practice slavery to the man to get it - it can't be tracked hopefully...

I know all you crypto peeps probably don't believe in investing in precious metals anymore, but I do. I am trying to keep a balance of both crypto and metal. I don't have a lot yet, just a little bit of hope that I can have something stashed that no one can take or know about.

I lost my job recently and am on a mixture of what I saved, helping friends out, selling art, and unemployment - I would like to "make it" on Steemit rather than have to go back out into the fake world and work for "the man".

Suggestions welcomed! Suggestions on investing in crypto, making it on Steemit, etc... I am still a noob minnow, I am just trying to figure out how to express my content in such a way as to attract people to my blog - I am teachable...

thank you! @gundulkibo

Congratulations! I've been working on getting more members of the esoteric community over here as that is something I see strangely lacking. That should help you garner some followers and hopefully help your post payouts. You make some of the best content I've found on steemit and I'm sure "making it" is right around the corner.

Really? Thank you @jphenderson - I really appreciate that vote of confidence - I will try to make my posts include current-cy so I can post here more often... it all fits together....

Yes, silver is something tangible and a store of value. Good luck and all the best!

thank you @arian1!

thank you @arian1 - silver is my thing...but bought with bitcoin, I can dig it!!!

You're a bigger minnow than I am. :-)
I have been buying a few silver rounds as my meager income allows, silver is always a goof thing to have some of. It's basically a value storage medium, it's always worth something. I consider silver to be a longer term investment rather than a buy and sell kind of thing. But that's just my personal opinion on silver.

me too - for me its a way to save untrackable money that will always be valueable even when fiat finally dies. I started buying junk silver coins and then I would buy $100 worth of 1 oz at a time. Now that I found out I can buy it with bitcoin, that's a no-brainer to me - I am not into buy-sell at all. I am not a gambler.

As for suggestions, I've been reading some of the information that some of the steemit witnesses have been writing about having to do with being successful on here, and one of the things they talked about was upvoting the best comments, or your favorite comment to your posts. Basically what they said is that it encourages interaction between people on here and might result in more followers, and possibly more post upvotes. I've been trying that myself and hoping for the best.

thank you @amberyooper - I have not been posting to the bitcoin tag until today - but that is where the higher investing followers are - I have stayed mostly in art drawing anarchy and life for the last year - but I really would like to make a living writing steemit articles. I recently lost my dumb job at big box orange so I would like to not have to return to that life... I work hard to build interesting content. when I first got on here - SBD was worth $4 so I was making "bank" on my posts. then it dropped and people began flooding on here and things were low for a while. but now that I am unemployed I have more time to think about it and work on it.

I hope things go well enough on here that you don't have to go back to the drudgery of working for someone else doing something that you'd rather not be doing.

thanks!

Bitcoin can be tracked. :-(

really? How is that? My bitcoin wallet is my email address which is a small time email account, and my isp address is not my own. How can it be tracked?

That your ISP address isn't your own is really helpful. But if you exchange your Steem for Bitcoin on Bittrex and then send it to your bitcoin wallet, you can be tracked that way. If your Steemit account is connected to your real identity, any transactions that originate there can be tracked back to you.

A lot of people think bitcoin is completely anonymous, but it isn't. You're probably fine since the government isn't capable of tracking all of the bazillons of small time bitcoin users, and you're not doing anything illegal. But they are very capable of tracking single individuals when they have the motive to do so. I just wanted you to be aware of that.

let's discuss this f2f next week ok?

Ok. And changes in Steem price too. (I got your message.)

we'll talk next week.
