Eminem mentions Bitcoin in his album "Kamikaze"

The rapper and actor Eminem confesses to having a penchant for Bitcoin. He would have mentioned the crypto-currency flagship in one of the songs of his album "Kamikaze" that has just appeared.

From rappers to TV presenters

Eminem quotes in his single "Not Alike":

"Remember, everyone used to bite nickel, now everyone uses Bitcoins. "
"Kamikaze" launched Thursday, August 30 at midnight, was a surprise of the world-famous rapper, and arrived two years after the release of his ninth album "Revival. "

The quotation of the word Bitcoin remains minimal, which is certainly not likely to affect the price. It is the latest reference in the consumer entertainment industry for virtual money.

Famous American host Ellen DeGeneres is one of the most memorable mentions. She took a humorous look at digital currency in her cult program in February 2018, saying:

"Everyone is talking about Bitcoin" but "nobody understands it".

"You will be a millionaire or you will be totally broke," she continued, referring to investors in Bitcoin.

John Olivier then gave sage advice to the crypto-community through his program "Last Week Tonight". His references made headlines at the time. He also compared Bitcoin to a Baby Beanie $ 15,000 and said that virtual currency was a gambling game and not an investment.

Digital currencies and the rap industry

The world of rap has helped to corroborate the profile of crypto-currencies over the years.

Rapper 50 Cent spurred the adoption of Bitcoin through his album " Animal Ambition" In 2014. He would have invested in Bitcoin, and would be millionaires today in dollars. But 50 Cent denied owning Bitcoins in a bankruptcy lawsuit a month later.

Young Dirty, the son of the late Ol 'Dirty Bastard, a rapper of the Wu-Tang Clan allegedly participated in the launch of a new cryptocurrency called Dirty Corner in March. The digital token would have been intended to promote a fundraiser for Young Dirty's next album.

More recently, in May, Snoop Dogg contributed to a Ripple (XRP) campaign at an event in New York.
