I'm scooping up Bitshares (BTS) ... best opportunity seems to be right now.

If any of you have been watching Bitshares price, you'll see now is an awesome time to get in

As Bitcoin falls in value normally people move into ALT coins.

The benefit here is that Bitshares isn't just a coin, it's an actual decentralized trading platform.

So not only do you gain the benefit of holding a popular coin that has so many trading pairs... You also are buying a coin with utility.

A coin with utility means... that coin has a purpose, it's always in demand by people who want to trade tokens and other assets that have a trading pair with BTS

Now if you take a look at a page like this, you're going to see some interesting details:

A couple of interesting facts.

Bitshares had an ath (all-time-high) on January 2, 2018 at 91.68 cents. This was around the time that Bitcoin was also $14,058

When Bitcoin started falling, much to the lows we see now, people saw it as an opportunity to sell Bitshares and buy Bitcoin instead. What they didn't realize is that Bitcoin didn't rebound as anticipated and we see it falling now even more..

Bitshares on the other hand is showing a very low price now. On that same image above, I alert you to this:

That means if you bought Bitshares a year ago, you would have seen an increase on your investment $5,291%

That's huge.

Now in about the last month, bitshares price went from a high of $0.91 USD to right now about $0.18 USD

Remember the old phrase, "buy low" then "sell high"

It is a buy low price now for Bitshares, in my opinion, and that's exactly what I'm doing.

A growth of 5,291% in a year is so huge! It's definitely a good buy right now, because it's so low. Of course, everything is low at the moment and there's many great opportunities to get into, but I believe bitshares is one of the better coins to buy now...

Today was a great day to short bitshares on the dex, there is some problems with the nodes to be worked out but this will be a great platform in the near future :)

thanks for the friend advice it seems a good idea to invest in bitshares taking advantage of this super cheap, the bitcoin in my opinion has to go back up until now the bitcoin is at:

1 bitshares 0.18
Some escomonista say that the bitcoin at the end of February should be treading the 14 thousand again.

I picked some up yesterday. These prices are a crazy good deal especially for what Bitshares actually is. One of the projects i'm most bullish on.

Here is to wishful thinking that the market starts to recover soon.

I started acquiring BTS at $0.17 purely as a speculation. My crypto portfolio is mostly SP and BTC. A little diversification can’t be a bad thing.

Good for you! So long as you're willing to HODL, you can't go very wrong at these prices.

Hey @intelliguy. Thanks for the post. I've been reading your BTS Tutorials. They are mostly focused on BTS as a DEX, but as far as I understand (I'm still fairly new) BTS is more than just Exchange.
I see that some projects use BTS blockchain to run their own business (and create owntokens), I also know that Hierarchical Permissions in BTS fit really well to structure organizations.
Would you consider to continue your tutorial with the info that goes beyond BTS as a DEX use case? Or maybe you could just direct me to some good sources of information? Also I'm wondering what businesses/organizations run on BitShares (and what are their use cases).
