ASUS Mining-P106-6G A Graphic Card Designed For Coin Mining

Finally we have a GPU designed exclusively for mining

ASUS

Has come across with a new product a serie of GPU designed for mining, there is no port to connect a monitor but would this solution really helps the lack of GPU on the market? I doubt it, I just see a greedy escenario in iwch miners would try to get gaming and mining cards.

They also said that this mining cards would be 36% faster but I wonder: compare to what? I can see an improvement because they hold a DDR6 Memory but would one of this be faster than let's say a 11GB gaming card?

The only way to know the answer to this questions would be buying 7 cards and assemble a new rig.

    Hey, I am lucky enough to be one of the first to order the P106100 cards. The hashrate on ethereum will be 25Mh/s at most (my RX series get 31 Mh/s ) so the claim that they are faster is not really true. Although if you compare the amount of WATT used for the hashrate, the claim is backed up by that. Als I agree that the greed will not be taken away... the producers of these cards noticed the HUGE demand for it and are not even selling it to traders. nice post :) hope you follow/read/react to my post about mining since i just started today.

    Best answer ever ... Where did you buy them? Las thing I could buy was 16 rx 580 about a Month ago after that nothing at all

      Thanks, I bought them froma GPU manufacturer direclty trough a contact. Its not possible for anyone i guess to do that.

                The card costs around 260bucks (still very hard to get them though)
