Genesis of the Phrase "HODL"

I AM HODLING

In the midst of the most euphoric increase in prices the space has ever seen, it is important to look back on the short history of our young crypto space. Recently as I've introduced new people to Bitcoin / Cryptocurrency, I've had many people embarrassingly ask me what "HODL" is. I would always just tell them that it's a funny, space-specific play off on the word "hold". To be completely honest, I didn't realize it had a legitimate genesis story. After reading the passage attached, I knew I had to share it for the sake of those who have not had the opportunity to see it before. The crypto game is built around this mentality, and for those of us that have been around long enough to experience the euphoric highs and depressing lows, it's important to understand the hilarious / all-too-familiar frustration that this was spawned from.
