This short blog post might have a tint of conspiracy, false (or true) accusations, and bias, but... what the hell.
Facebook, who has been accused of discriminating against older workers and helping Russia rig foreign elections, is banning cryptocurrency ads. How ironic.
It's similar to a gold bug like Peter Schiff railing against Bitcoin. Why does he do it? Because Bitcoin is his challenger. Why is Zuckerberg banning crypto ads from his platform? Maybe because some new decentralized protocols might overtake the social media giant.
OK. Maybe not. But, Google, Facebook, Twitter, and others will either be challenged by, or incorporated with a cryptocurrency in the future.
Check back with me in 10 years to discuss. In the meantime, I'm not wasting my time on Facebook; I'll use Steemit.
agreed, i dislike facebook immensely and left it long ago once i realized the level of information gathering going on...
Thankfully its days are numbered....
something to consider
FB's market cap = 566 billion
STEEM's market cap = 1.2 billion
now that's the flippening i really care about!

You do right. Facebook is dying. There is no freedom of speech there and Cuckerberg gets rich off of the back of the hard work of bloggers. They are the product, and more and more are realising this fact and abandoning Facebook for Steemit.
