I remember, way back in 2013, when I first heard of bitcoin, I believe it was around $20 per coin, now it's over $16000 per coin.
My first exposure to what bitcoin was actually from a youtube video, Household Hacker I believe was the channel and they had a guy hosting named Traveler who was discussing bitcoin and how he planned to travel from coast to coast using nothing but bitcoin donated to him. I told a friend of mine who did IT for the military about it and he said "sounds like a scam, I would buy any of that, it'll go nowhere, but into the pockets of the people creating it", this guy also voted for McCain and Romney and told me Ron Paul was a nutcase. So I've learned my lesson, never take advice from a government employ who supports the status quo.
Now I'm going to start investing more smaller cryptos, like litecoin and etherium.
Anyone know of some good cryptos that are trending upwards and a better place to buy them than coinbase?
