A special focus is put on the possibilities of blockchain for government activities. The conference will be held on 4 and 5 September in Paris, where the headquarters of the OECD is located. In addition, the speakers' speeches will be broadcast live.

"More than 400 high-ranking public and private sector decision-makers" are expected. Those present will have the opportunity to discuss issues such as the impact of blockchain on the global economy, privacy and security on the Internet. Furthermore, talk about the block chain as a means of inclusion. It also discusses the potential of the technology for sustainability and enforcement practices.

"Blockchain has the potential to change a wide range of industries. However, fulfilling this potential depends on the integrity of the processes and requires appropriate policies and measures while addressing the risks of abuse. Governments and the international community will play a significant role in shaping policy and regulatory frameworks that address evolving challenges and promote transparent, fair and stable markets as the basis for using blockchain, "the press release said.

Preparations for the conference are in full swing
Also this summer, the OECD published a report entitled "Blockchain Technology and Competition Policy". The report was used to prepare for the conference and has many uses for technology in both the private and public sectors. Also, the basic properties of Blockchain were explained there. A section of the text is dedicated to the importance of new associations such as the R3 consortium.
