I believe LTC will be worth over $100 by Aug 2017 and this is why.
-Technology is the best of any coin
-Its Cheap (Cost per coin and transaction fees)
-More places are accepting it
-Bitcoin is facing a block split on Aug 1 and I think many BTC owners will diversify into LTC
-Its all about Market Cap!!!
-Right now LTC market cap is just under 2.5B globally
-Bitcoin has a market cap of 44B globally
-The 24 hour volume is trading averages 1/3 to 2/3 its of its total market cap. DAILY
Just say the GLOBAL market cap reaches 5B worldwide. (Remember Bitcoin is already at 44B) then todays LTC worth about $46.00 will be worth about $92.00
By 2020 I expect the Global Market Cap on LTC to be between 10B and 20B (5x to 10x todays value) .... note.... this day may arrive sooner than predicted. Its hard to say but look at the charts and do your homework before investing.
Personally, I'm bullish as I can be on this next huge breakout investment and you should be too.
Even if Bitcoin moves to Segwit2x? It looks like that's the case.

Great Link! It would appear SegWit is launching on BTC. It's still missing Lightning on top of the network though so we will see what the results will be. BTC isn't going anywhere, however, I feel that LTC is a better coin for the near term.

Right, but it's that idea that Segwit will make Bitcoin easier for regular transaction activity, and not just a store of value. It really depends if Charlie Lee was right in his post back in January that explains his reasoning as to why the two can coexist. Curious if that MIT news that came out today will be meaningful. Interesting timing too, given the August 1st announcement.

Most people aren't keeping up with the Bitcoin Segwit2x UASF August 1st debate. From the outside the see a divided community who can't agree, it reduces the average investors trust in Bitcoin. I agree Segwit2x will be great for Btc by reducing transaction fees and increasing speed of transactions.
At least this is my theory moving ahead, assuming other investors get a fright and move out of Btc into other cryptos. Investing now, still early, in Ltc, Eth, Xmr and Steem should see a nice spike on August 2nd
