Bitcoin is catching a major bid!
About an hour ago, bitcoin started moving up from it's week long sideways price action.
It had been clinging to about $3,9000 ever since it ran up to that level on Feb. 18th.
On no apparent news, bitcoin broke out of that sideways price action and promptly busted through the minor resistance at $4,000.
Currently prices are sitting at $4,100:

Currently prices are only a couple points off the recent highs, which were around $4,130 and seen a few minutes ago.
Unfortunately steem is not rallying as strongly as we would like.
The altcoin price action is mostly positive currently but not all are outperforming bitcoin like has been common other times bitcoin jumps significantly.
Steem is currently trading hands at $.347, or up about 3%.
EOS and Ether by comparison, are both up about double the percentage gains of bitcoin, both up around 6% on the day.
Need steem to start seeing some relative strength again, it has been a while!

A lot of times there is two ups before going down hard, kind of pattern resembling back of a Bactrian camel... the climb close to 4200 USD was the first up, now it's building momentum for the next climb...

How exciting!! It feels almost like Bitcoin breaking that $10,000 barrier last year. And then it nearly doubled that!!

I am not sure either. $4,400 is gonna be some minor resistance in the short term. There is heavy resistance at $5k, and even more at $6k.

Short squeeze may be in the works soon as well as I imagine some would have stops slightly above these levels. Will be interesting to see if follow through comes during the weekend.
