Is the Bitcoin cryptocurrencies' USD ?

Here is my feeling.
The american dollar is the reference and most used currencie on our planet, there have been wars to make it necessary. Trumps knows it, and that's why China is his first ennemy, because threatening the usd.
I'm quite new in the cryptocurrency world, and I find it amazing. I can imagine the futur of our economies around it, and the freedom of our people. Altcoins will act as the euro, yen, pound, etc... But the reference will always be the bitcoin. The difference is, most of altcoins have a specific mission which is not about a country or location as fiat currencies, but about a social trend or consumption's model.

Is the Bitcoin the equivalent of USD or gold in our classic system?

Let's share our opinion :)
