Free-falling Economy Pushes Destinia to Bitcoin
Moving forward, travelers who use Destinia platform to make their travel reservations would have to pay in bitcoin. And there's not 2-ways about it.
Destinia has made the decision after witnessing the impacts of the free-falling Venezuelan economy.

The head of the transport department at Destinia, Víctor Oliva said:
"Venezuelans not only have problems leaving the country but also problem paying [to leave the country] by credit card because they can only do it in local currency. Prioritizing 'bitcoin' as a payment currency can be an aid..."
Why O' Why? It's pretty straightforward in this case... Business needs hedge against hyperinflation.

It is a clear indication that bitcoin has gained acceptance in the country (or maybe the gov't has leave the people with no better option but to embrace bitcoin... Comparing it with their official currency, Bolivar).
Business People Has to Do What's Best for a Business
Bolivar is deemed less appealing for primary transaction use. Hence it would not come as a surprise if more companies would go 'bitcoin-only'.

To end, if the gov't was doing a great job in running the economy, then why are the people turning to bitcoin? Or worse, fleeing the country... Last year alone, more than 150,000 Venezuelans have fled the country in search of a better future elsewhere.
