Latest Issues With Top BTC Exchanges with KYC/AML/Banks

Since some time there is rumours and facts about issues going on some mostly USD based exchanges.

BitFinex No More USD Deposits/Withdrawals


Initially some corespondent banks blocked withdrawals of USDT (1 dollar pegged crypto) to bank accounts but as of latest news - currently both wire deposits and withdrawals are locked until future notice. BTC/LTC/

BTC-E Stopping USD Wire Transfers


Russian anonymous exchange known for top LTC volumes. Until may they will not accept wire deposits. This is not a big deal, most people use this exchange to deposit and withdrawal crypto.

Kraken Not Accepting Watermarks on IDs


There are just few rumours about this so needs to be verified but it seems Kraken wants clear scans. Obviously those if went to bad hands or leaked in hack could give you loads of trouble. And if you ever tried to verify in Kraken.. It really is a long process to do all tiers.

OkCoin stops bank usage too

Thanks for the heads up, but do you have a version of that which doesn't require a magnifying glass?

Meanwhile, TradeQwik has no such problems and is in negotiations to purchase a bank after the VIVA ICO in order to prevent it ever becoming a problem.

The only way to ever be on equal footing with banks is to buy or become one.

People need to learn to think outside the box. Bitfinex earned some $100M USD last year. They could very easily have established a de novo bank instead of relying on Wells Fargo who has proven time and time again that they will de -risk anyone who deals in anything outside the USA.

Wells Fargo makes it even worse. They are blocking their customers from depositting money on to crypto-currency's exchanges.
