Litecoin Will Be Added to Coinbase - Confirmed!

in bitcoin •  8 years ago  (edited)

LTC was trading on GDAX since some time but today crossed such prices Coblee publicly asked for it ot be added and got a good reply.

Adding to Coinbase means you will be able to buy LTC directly with cash without BTC in the middle.

This is at 5% now https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@kingscrown/litecoin-8-away-of-activating-segwit-may-happen-within-24h so it MAY still be a good moment to enter despite high price.

Unfortunately, I shorted LTC yesterday. I still made a few pennies, but it could have been more. Oh well, you live and you learn!

Thank you for the updates on Litecoin.
Are you invested long term or just for the SegWit pump?

Im with LTC since 2013 so very long term in my case

the nobility to what level would will grow up

I find this method to be absolutely un-professional.

Do GDAX not have any sort of people re-searching currencies worth adding to their own exchange? Is it just volume (which let's be honest isn't hard or expensive to fake) that gets their dicks hard?

Disgusting.

They have been talking about market research for which cryptos to add for a few months now. This is just a light hearted way of making the announcement on Twitter.

Ah alright - it just seemed a bit too much after adding Eth after the volume came as well.

Most likely in both cases the volume came as a result of them finishing up their purchases for the sake of providing liquidity (SegWit may only be providing a helpful rationale for the pump).

If a major exchange adds Steem in the future we'll almost certainly see the same thing. They will need to buy a lot of Steem, and that isn't without its impact.

Thanks for the reply!

I told you so :P

And get the IRS on your ass even more? Are you guys tax fetishists?
