Okay this is crazy news and i couldnt believe them but its real. Poloniex, one of the oldest crypto exchanges that changed hands a few times is going to remove obligatory KYC and allow trading without it.
First exchange in history does this, of course this is because Justin Sun of TRX bought it and he loves to run stuff asian way similar to Binance

Ive quit Poloniex 2 years ago but depending what they do now i may come back.
Anyways for now Poloniex is not listed on bitcoin no KYC exchanges but soon may be.

I remember when poloniex was the top exchange back in 2016 2017. They had the Trollbox with awesome mods like Watchtower. That was the golden age of crypto as far as I'm concerned lol

so many hidden gems in that trollbox, at one point it was live crypto updates, people posting tweets seconds after the tweets came out... lots of opportunity those days...
When ethereum passed 0.01 for the first time was chaos in the trollbox lol

Unlike when we used poloniex 3-4 years ago, the exchange space is so much more competitive now. They need to do this to become relevant again. Great initiative. Maybe they'll even list STEEM again.

I seriously dont understand how they can stop with this KYC nonesense. Then why did they do it in the first place? Either they were forced by regulators or there weren't.
My trust towards this platform is currently quite low.
