NEO known as Ethereum for China is a one hell interesting coin.
It started as Antshares, was doing nothign for almost a year and then rebranded into NEO and got MAAAD pump.
Currently there is two ways you can make some free (or at least easy) money just by holding it.
ONT Token
All addresses holding NEO on March 1st will get some free ONT tokens (new token made on NEO network. Each NEO will get 0.2 ONT (50% of which are freely tradable and the other 50% are automatically locked).
NEO Tokens from Antshares
If you got into ICOP of NEO aka Antshares currently they will credit initial investors with freebies. You can choose to get NEO or CNY/RMB value. Not sure yet how many you get but its worth doing so. Use site here: https://neo.org/giveback
They ask for priv key so move your funds out if you still hold them in ICO addy.
Markets
I personally mostly trade NEO on Binance and the withdrawal off there is free, but keep in mind NEO can only be withdrawn (everywhere) as full tokens, no declimals.
You can also long and short NEO on BitMEX.

@ogoowinner you won't receive any ONT on Bittrex. You are also missing out on the GAS that Neo generates every block. Binance and Kucoin do payouts of GAS but you most likely won't receive airdrops unless you move your coins to your own wallet. It's very easy to do so though https://neo.org/download. Then mobile O3 wallet is fantastic.

I love, love, LOVE Neo. I was lucky enough to buy Antshares when they were $4,- a piece and BOY did that sucker pump. It was a lucky buy, because at first I was attracted by the cuteness factor of the little ant :) Only after I bought I looked into it a bit further lol. Thank you for the post on the free coins. I have my NEO in the NEON app. This the official app they released on GitHub. I bought them as ANT shares in Bittrex on the open market, so not from an ICO. Are the free coins only if you bought in their ICO? By the way, I'm not trading at all my NEO. I have them at $0.26.

neo is not divisible coin. So you have to buy, sell, send or receive it in integer form. Such as, 1,2,30,40 etc. You are not allowed to buy, sell, send or receive it in decimal form, so if you try to send it in decimal form, the transaction would be rounded up and you might lose 1 neo (1 neo is about $115 today). I don't know why, but the dev have designed neo in such way. Maybe for simplicity reasons or something like that.
