Wex (aka BTC-E the oldest still running exchange) Adds Segwit

in bitcoin •  7 years ago

For new people on my blog: USA SEC/Gov/FBI seized BTC-E and part of their funds yet this guy had balls to come back, pay 66% of money to users right away and for the rest they are doing buybacks from money that they make from fees.

Before going down it was top exchange for LTC, NMC and PPC. Despite exchanges closing this days they are still open for registrations so feel free to use them - http://wex.nz

Now they added Segwit for BTC and LTC so fees to deposit are smaller and transactions are faster.

That guy has got balls of steel! Lol. Not something you would see every day. Coming back from something like this shows a strong mentality!

That's true. How many people can say they got knocked down by the US Govt and came back stronger?

Thanks for the background on this exchange.

As you are aware most of the exchanges are closing its door to new users, this comes as good move. I have account in 5 exchanges now & all of them have my passport now, however only one allows to buy BTC/ETH directly with Debit/Credit card.

About time we need more exchanges to start stepping up!
Good work @kingscrown that's very good news!

thank you for information friend

have a nice day

@kingscrown thank you for this information.i wanna ask something i am trying to transfer some about to increase sp but everything is same it is not transfering.but in wallet history it is showing thatTransfer 0.001 SBD to everything-4you

you need STEEM to power up. you can buy STEEM with SBD.

every transaction uses power even claiming rewards! Its better to let it build up a bit before claiming!

Very helpfull post.
thanks..

Thank you for your post :-)

An exchange with segwit, this was long overdue.

Honestly, I'm pretty surprised to see the guy behind btc-e back with a new exchange.

Thanks for the post. Always looking forward to your post.

They must have been making some serious coin (pun intended) to be able to pay back 66% after having assets seized by the Feds. Time to start a new crypto. (Does anyone know where to get the book "Starting a Cryptocurrency For Dummies?) Ha ha

You've posted pretty well

Cool! Hope more will follow. Transaction fees are ridiculous these days. BTC.com wallet expects me to pay $50 to transfer $60! No thanks

kingscrown!! Thank you, your Post.

It's a pretty small market. Why do you think they are trying so hard to come back?

Nice. hello Coinbase!

Wex is out to prove that it's customers are at the center of her activities, these innovations I believe is aimed at improving service delivery. Quite commendable.
