just like CoinMama you can buy BTC there with CCs and even Paypal.
Obviously there is big fees on this services but they make it easy for non-techy people to adopt and get their first cryptos.

Yip, there are major fees charged when buying crypto without using an exchange. I guess it it easier for a non-techie to purchase crypto this way but that is going to have to change if we ever want crypto to become mainstream...

I like these ideas, but the fees are ridiculous. I thought the blockchain community was trying to get away from extortion through outrageous fees by the banks to use our money and instead it's becoming even more outrageous than the banks. Essentially we are being extorted through fees to enter the crypto world to have the freedom of owning money that we can transfer quickly and semi-anonymously. All the talk of corporate greed and all I can think of is the hypocrisy of *Animal Farm when I look at crypto the last few months. UET was trying to make a point and I think they proved it well. We need a Mr.Whymper Coin because crypto-currency and monetary freedom will become a folly just like the rebellion if we don't step up and stop the extortion through high fees in crypto.

I bought 95% of my cryptocurrency on Bitpanda and so far I had no problems/downtimes or anything else.
The only thing you could "complain" about is the fee. On Bitpanda you pay more fees than on most of the platforms. But if you are a long term holder Bitpanda is a good platform for you.
