Major cryptocurrency wallet Coinbase blames Visa for unauthorized charges to users

  • Cryptocurrency exchange and wallet Coinbase blamed Visa for an issue that saw some users experience unauthorized money withdrawals.

  • Coinbase said a change to the way payments made to its service are classified was to blame for the issue.

  • Visa however said that it had made no such changes.
