Without banks there is no way, because all rich corporations and people have their own banks, I think the same will happen to Bitcoin and all the other crypto money. For now it is better to be together and to help both sides win.And the energy consumption is like any other thing that is powered by electricity, and the media is a bit less predisposed to the race.
