ATOMIC NETWORK’S
FEATURE FILM,
“CRYPTO”
‘Satoshi Nakamoto’s Peaceful Revolution to Free the World’
NOW IN PRE-PRODUCTION
October 5th, 2018. Dublin, Ireland. For immediate release. Atomic Network, a global, premium, on-demand, digital streaming service for Techies, Trekkies, Geeks, and Gamers, is now in active pre-production on the new, independent, feature-film, “CRYPTO.” “Our screenplay is written. Casting has begun. Filming begins in Los Angeles, Scottsdale, and Santa Barbara in early 2019,” said CEO of Atomic Network, Sky Conway, who also serves as Executive Producer and Co-Writer of the film.
CRYPTO is a mystery-thriller and heart-warming drama; a film based on the true story of the creation of Bitcoin and the mysterious, now legendary figure, behind it.
In 2009, an enigmatic genius using the pseudonym, ‘Satoshi Nakamoto,’ released Bitcoin, a revolutionary, peer-to-peer new digital transaction system, based on Blockchain technology. Satoshi’s breakthrough creation of the world’s first ‘cryptocurrency’ fundamentally changed the future of global commerce by rendering traditional power brokers obsolete —and then he just disappeared.
In CRYPTO, you’ll meet a teenage rebel, an endearing family man, and a genius cryptographer. They’re all the same man: Hal Finney – a visionary futurist and legendary cypherpunk, who embarks on a life-altering journey after befriending Satoshi Nakamoto - one of the most elusive mystery men of the 21st century.
The journey culminates in a utopian future where the disruptive consequences of Satoshi’s invention have been realized. There is also a shocking twist that will leave the audience stunned.
While Hal is the film’s main focus, CRYPTO also introduces us to other revolutionary Cypherpunks, including Nick Szabo, Wei Dai, Tim May, Eric Hughes, John Gilmore, Phil Zimmermann, Jude “St Jude” Milhon, Romana and “Cypherella” Machado! They are the crypto-anarchists who fought for our privacy and pursued the digital holy grail: cryptocurrencies that do not rely on governments or central banks. Their peaceful revolution sought freedom and abundance for all.
CRYPTO premieres in May of 2019, to coincide with the ten year anniversary of the invention of Bitcoin. The film will be available for streaming and downloads worldwide, exclusively through Atomic Network.
