Ways to make money.

-Working. You get ~1 energy an hour, 1 energy = 5 minutes of work. Your pay rate is decided by the wage set by the company, at last check the rate was .0505 coins for an hour of work.

-Selling items. You can sell items to other players under the market tab. There are 8 categories, all of them having to do with gaining energy. (To work more, presumably). These are made by companies, but if you want to own a company, you'll have to spend monthly gold (just for the license) and then you'll need to spend more on top of that to hire workers to make goods for you.

-Renting items. Clothes, Jewelry, Cars, and Houses are all purchasable/rentable on the player market. You can rent an item for a set amount of gold per day.

-Shares. The game has 100 shares, and at the beginning of each month some money from the game fund is distributed to each of the shareholders.

(How the game is Funded) -

What that little (insert very colorful language here) that posted about this site earlier didn't tell you is that the game is funded by taxes. Take my last work, for example. I put in 5 minutes, and got .004200 gold. Not! The game took away 1% (it does that any time you do a financial transaction), 20% went to the referrer (I didn't use the ref link, so "so" far it's went to two different people), and then another %10 "Salary tax". So, after all the taxes, my takeaway was .002898.

It's, in my opinion, a clone of PipsTycoon but with less junk. As the OP stated in his post, the website does claim that the supply of gold coin is backed up by real 24k gold, but that doesn't matter, because you can only withdraw in BitCoin ($10 minimum, and a %10 cut if you withdraw more than you deposited).
