The majority of bitcoin users do not want Segwit2x to go ahead. The majority of hash power does, so Segwit2x will go ahead. Against the wishes of the Bitcoin community as a whole.
1- Segwit2X will be a failure and Bitcoin keeps its throne but falls about 10-15% after the fork to compensate the price surge just before the fork. Segwit2X will be priced around 20-30% of the Bitcoin price.
2- Segwit2X succeeds and pretty much completely replaces BitCoin in which case the price of Segwig2X coin would be comparable to what Bitcoin is priced and bitcoin would loose about 80-90% of its value.
3- Things go messy and people loose trust with the entire fork and will bring down both Bitcoin and Segwit2X and the sell-off of both the coins happen with price of both the coins going to 10% of what it is today.
4- Segwit2X succeeds but doesn't replace Bitcoin and both coexist peacefully. Holders will get a free Segwig2X coin and its a win-win for everyone!

Lol 3rd one is highly impossible. Bitcoin has such high demand over 9 years. Impossible a big sell off can happen unless some exchange get hacked or each government in all countries decided to ban crypto for good.

Everything is possible, but 3 hard forks this year and free money for coins that nobody will use, huge money, billions to be exact. That's borderline criminal. Something needs to change. If after all this bitcoins stands above 5k who knows, it might even go on another run. It seems to me that it all hangs on a tiny thread that might break any day now.
