Something happened with BTC at roughly 12AM PST when it broke through the downtrend line, and as you suggested, alt-coins are getting hit across the board. It's interesting to note that while their BTC pair pricings are being impacted by the sudden rise in BTC pricing, their fiat currency valuations remain relatively intact so far.
