Absolutely worth investing in the right masternode. There are plenty that are just clones and have no real value. But nodes like Zcoin , dash and pivx are great.

The point of masternodes are for passive income generation. It requires a big investment and a lot of time but you get slowly rewarded forever as long as you have the node. Sure you could probably make more doing something else with that money instead of locking it up in a masternode but how many ways can you make that money 24/7 without doing any work?
