Bitcoin can be so frustrating

in bitcoin •  8 years ago  (edited)

After many days checking to see if my btc transaccions have finally been confirmed Im slowly starting to get more and more worried about them. This is extremely dissapointing and I can only imagine how many newbies must be frustrated by the same. In my case I did send a higher fee in 2/3 of the pending transaccions but no sign of any progress. The third is an incoming transaccion which has been pending for 2 weeks now :(

I know Im not alone in this as the amount of unconfirmed just keep increasing

You can see for yourself here =

I read that you can use https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ to submit and hopefully get included in the next blocks but when I tried to do so a warning came up saying that they had exceeded their limit and were not taking any requests for the time being.

Maybe you have another suggestion?

If you have some reliable method for speeding up the confirmation process I would love to read about it and try it out.

Here is a very interesting post by @penguinpablo talking about this very matter

Slow Bitcoin 1.jpg

This seems to be a growing issue.

Its a great way to promote the use of altcoins with larger block size

Gracias David :)

hello...

my advice, dont use bitcoin for transaction, use ethereum or other crypto or ypu can use bitcoin debit card, bitcoin confirmation taking too much time to confirmed especially if you only transact small amount, the fees is incriedible high..

Yes I know, in any case 2 of my transaccions that are stuck were meant to be to add funds to my shakepay debit card. They also accept dash or ether but in this case I decided to send btc :(

if your tx is stuck:

  • you can import the private key of the sending address into a new wallet
  • the new wallet should not see the unconfirmed sending-tx and thus...
  • you should be able to broadcast a new sending-tx with a higher fee to get that included in a block hopefully
  • this will make your previous lower fee tx invalid and should solve the issue.

i did it before after accidentally sending a tx with NO fee at all

Hello, this is a frustrating thing! I've found out about a tool, "Transaction Accelerator". I did not tried it out myself but have read about it on reddit and it seems to work.
I copied this from their website: With the Transaction Accelerator for delayed transactions, you can submit any TXID that includes a minimum fee of 0.0001BTC/KB.
We will prioritize your submitted transaction to include in the next block we mine with no charge (Check Block Records).
ViaBTC pool and cloud mining contract customers will enjoy chances for an upgraded “Customer-Only” accelerator service, which will help you lift the limits on minimum transaction fee and processing capacity. Customers need to Sign in before submitting so that our system can check your qualification and provide the “Customer-Only” accelerator service automatically "https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/"
Here is an article about a similar service:

I wish u good luck with the transfer!

Yes I mentioned in the post that I tried viabtc but that they are not allowing for submissions right now as they are backlogged.

Oh sorry, did not read all of it, not long time awake, need some coffee first! :-) Good Luck and keep us updated if you found a solution that worked! Thanks!
