Meet the man who deactivated Trump’s Twitter account

Because Twitter tries to figure out how to avoid parts of its program that allow it to follow, as well as spread misleading information and illegal content, there have been many points that show how service and control weapons are far from perfect.
One of these moments occurred earlier this month, when the Twitter account that President Donald Trump saw, which he saw very severely, stopped for 11 minutes. The person in charge of these 11 minutes returned to his home in Germany and agreed to talk with Tech Crunch about what happened that day.

The president of EE. UU., Donald Trump, has recognized for a long time that he can use Twitter as an effective speaker without any pain or price to communicate with the media. The Trump Trump account (36,500 Tweets and vote counting) has become one of the most popular today, with 43.5 million followers and several hundred thousand people growing during the week. This is also one of the most famous, due to his trivial jokes, insults, tyrants and controversial Roets.

Therefore, for those who were dissatisfied with Trump, when judging the results of the electoral vote in 2016, the majority of voters in the United States went to those who disqualified 11 minutes, this caused an unexpected joy.

Twitter, in turn, for greater transparency, quickly announced that the closure of the account was accidental. In a few moments, he received additional information: the responsible contractor answered the last day of work.

The story could end there, but it is not.

The journalists began an immediate attempt to find the former former Twitter contractor, trying to find out what had happened. If it is an accident, how can this happen? If deliberately, why did this happen?

We were among those looking for a contractor, and through a series of events, his name, Bakhtiar Desak, was admitted and forced to agree to speak with us in one of the German cities.

Duisak, twenty years with Turkish roots, was born and lifted in Germany, worked as a contractor for a certain period of the last part of his stay in the United States under a work and study visa. In addition to his role on Twitter with Pro Unlimited, other tasks included monetizing Google and YouTube through another Faco contractor.

Many wondered on Twitter why Trump never closed the breach of the terms of Twitter (among the reasons why people made it clear that it threatened North Korea with nuclear violence), while others urged people to denounce it using Twitter tweeting tools.

On Twitter, Desac was designated to serve clients as part of the Trust and Security section. This command receives warnings when users report bad behavior, including abusive or illegal tweets, harassment, other personification, etc. The Panel classifies complaints to determine what additional steps should be taken, if applicable.

Duisack describes the event as "incorrect". In particular, he told us that he never thought that the account would really be interrupted.

In fact, it turned out that Trump's account was essentially protected against decontamination in violation of the terms of service. In June, Twitter explained the reason: some tweets, which seem to violate the terms of service, but "it is worth reporting in the press" and, therefore, in the interest of the public to keep up.

One of the conclusions through the publication of Twitter on notable tweets in the press is that the decision on the criminal record of news and information requires a relative toxicity of the content, which is probably due to our toxicity, and they carry "news".

Trump's election showed a high watermark of how people with opposing views of politics and other people reacted to the flash. Perhaps more than ever, people tell stories in such a way that they fit their own agendas.

Although Desak admitted being a hero to some, he says he felt nothing.

He was persecuted by the media, which was aggressive in contact with family and friends. The woman who noticed it for the first time is a typical example (we asked and he would not give us his data, probably to protect it). Duizak said he liked some of his messages, and one of them had already noticed Duisak and followed them.

But he is not worried about what will happen next if more research is carried out. No laws have been violated.

"I did not touch anyone, I did not do anything that I would not allow," he told us when we met in Germany. "I did not go to a place I did not have to enter in. I did not break any rules.
