What is Leep network?
Leep-network is a blockchain ecosystem focused on scalability and security. Using the Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), Leep network is the first robust and scalable platform that is also ACID compliant atomicity! consistency, isolation, and durability). ACID compliance is important for a series of transactions that all complete successfully, or no transactions are submitted
Leep network aims to solve the current limitations of blockchain and DLT by creating a robust and scalable platform for applications related to various industries that benefit from DLT. It will help to give solutions to fund feasible projects that will help to solve some of the issues existing in the agriculture, green energy, eco-friendly sectors. Besides, it provides technological infrastructure for large and small businesses, entrepreneurs, developers, and investors
INTRODUCING POLLEN
Pollen is a protocol that monitors the Leep Network and intelligently delegates broadcasted transactions to dynamic node pools based on their workload, optimizing the performance and minimizing network congestion for any application running on the network. In order to provide a balance between security and performance, we are using a special data structure that gives us mathematically provable benefits. Instead of using a pure blockchain for all transactions, smart contracts, data resources, and execution, we allow zones to be created in a graph. This graph has no orphan transactions and all data required is always provided as ‘closure’. The Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) we implement organizes the data for provably secure transactions. The basic results of the transactions are recorded into a light-chain and the original data can still be queried long term.
DIRECTED ACYCLIC GRAPH
In a DAG structure, all of the transactions to process results will occur after their resources are available. The DAG clearly solves the double spend problem through the mathematical closure property of the graph. Every interested party is informed about every transaction. We facilitate the DAG further by providing reverse lookup on wallets, so closure is guaranteed instead of asserted.
With a traditional blockchain, all transactions are performed in a sequence, and the resources available at the time of execution are included in the data. Since blockchain does not guarantee the order of execution, some transactions will fail. Using a blockchain data structure, the list of transactions to include in a block is randomly selected by the miner who wins the block, and may only process high fee transactions.
DAG based Database Nodes have a distinct advantage over Blockchain Nodes; in Blockchain the proof of state is maintained by every node performing every calculation. Errant calculations create forks, which must be discarded by the node. The DAG geometry is a proof of inclusion and an isolated calculation would not be included in the DAG. This advantage creates additional optimizations in both verification and speed of execution.
GLYPTOS
Each block of transactions will be treated as a single Glypto. A Glypto is our intermediate data structure that allows blocks of atomic interdependent transactions to occur in a specific order. A Glypto can be a single transaction or a block of transactions. Glyptos are ACID compliant database operations, on complex groups of data. Put simply, if Smart Contracts are SQL on blockchain technology, Glyptos are T-SQL (Transactional Simple Query Language) on the blockchain. The Leep Network is built to be secure and easy for businesses to implement while providing robust solutions for small and Big Data. Blockchain can’t group transactions, can’t order transactions from multiple people, and struggles to make one transaction depend on the results of another. Leep does these automatically in ACID Compliant mode.
LIGHT-CHAIN
Transactions are finalized by being published in the Light-chain. The inclusion of Transactions into the Light-chain is performed after Database Node collaboration, with assistance from Scribe Nodes. The blocks will contain summaries of transactions, with full transaction details in the database nodes. Every minute the blocks will synchronize with network time, so time and dates can be accurately predicted by block number instead of approximated.
SMART CONTRACTS
A Turing Complete smart contract allows for a fully functional programming language in a virtual machine. The main advantages of smart contracts are automation, transparency, conditional execution and payment. The initial work in this area has been very fruitful and diverse, but development has been stymied by lack of certain features. The most notable of these is ACID compliance for batch processing with a deterministic order (instead of being random or miner based). The difficulty of integration with outside networks has been rewarded with bounty systems in LiteCoin, Ethereum, Monero, DASH and Bitcoin networks. A Smart Contract language needs enough “primitives” to assemble higher level logic, and the cryptographic methods to perform all of these operations. Performing these transactions “in network” using primitives is much more efficient than performing the same transaction “in network” using a higher level language.
LEEP INNOVATION
As scalability and network throughput issues are easily identified, a reactionary measure has been taken by a new generation of DLT projects to mitigate these shortcomings. While these technological advancements and solutions address network usability and security, many of these projects are unable to clearly define how exactly their technology can benefit feasible applications. This creates a homogenized space where there is an abundance of great network capability, but a disconnect between the technology and how it can be integrated with valuable use case scenarios.
AN INCUBATOR FOR ECOLOGICAL SOLUTIONS
Cryptocurrencies provide ways of generating resources to help fund industries in a self-governed manner. We see a lack of attention being given to innovative and new ecologically sustainable startups and we believe that we can use our economic model to help crowdfund areas of research and development.
Leep Network implements a mechanism that allocates dividends to projects based on a voted governance. Through smart contracts, nodes that are staking Leep tokens are awarded Leep coins for their involvement in processing network transactions and staking tokens.
Percentages of revenue generated from all Leep Network transaction fees and staking will be allocated to a publicly viewable treasury wallet and dispersed to eligible projects on the Leep Network using a vote based investor governance model. Leep network provides flexible support and is geared for many industries. It is not limited solely to ecological applications, but we are interested in providing solutions for projects that have real-world value and can benefit the environment and quality of life.

By creating a robust and scalable network that is secure and flexible, Leep provides solutions for businesses of any industry that can benefit from being a part of the Leep Network.
