How is it possible to liquidate your steem holdings, as quickly as possible? What amount of time would it take? instant? A week? 13 weeks? Can I send all my holding on steem to blocktrades to buy some other altcoins -TODAY? I have bought steem- immmediately with bitcoin and litecoin, but my question is the liquidity of steem directly influences the confidence in the currency. If it isnt readily liquid- then why would anyone want to own it?

What form are your STEEM holdings in? If it's SP, it will take 2 years (they break it up into 104 parts). If it's STEEM or SBD, you can move them out now and exchange if you want.
Having SP gains you interest rate, which may be a factor in deciding whether or not to power up. The downside is the long payout rate.

I reply, "thanks"-- and 13 people who are not involved in my conversation flag me. ABUSE OF POWER. examine everyone who downvoted me- look at their wallets and see who funds them- then see their blogs- nothing- no posts- yet some of them have over $25,000? Steemit is totally being gamed. You can run, but you cant hide.
