yes of course it is -- the price always dips and then hits new highs - it is the best coin to own --even if you only buy a few hundred dollars worth at a time -- it builds up and becomes a decent investment

I'm just getting started and don't have much to invest (under $100) would you recommend starting with bitcoin? or should I try something else like Ripple, Litecoin, or Ethereum?

Bitcoin and keep buying $100 every week or 2 - use coinjar they are a good aussie exchange with low fees -that is my opinion - ripple is over priced etherium is not a winner and litecoin maybe could do well .... i reckon bitcoin will be over 50000 in 12 months
