The largest bitcoin exchange in Germany is sharing customer data with the police.
This is sad news when you hear of things like this, whats next they will know everything done under the sun and all transactions you did at midnight,i guess this was coming and we all must brace our self of what will be the one of the biggest threats to the power of crypto.
Data given to police includes bitcoin addresses, names, associated emails, locations, account summaries, IP addresses, and login history, which means you can't do anything without them knowing what you did last summer, well even last night, but what would be the reaction of customer to such treachery,if you allow me to call it that and more.
Bitcoin users have the right to privacy and i think clamping down on the darknet is causing all this mayhem and it cost a lot money to exchanges if they fail to protect their clients interest, and look to protect our privacy.
The Darknet
illegal transaction in the darknet are a cause of concern for the law enforcement authorities and this problem is spilling into the day to day transactions of exchanges and will require new measures to see bitcoin users openly and freely trading without worrying that tomorrow someone with a badge will not on their front door and ask them about last nights fling online.
1.what do you think bitcoin users should do about privacy policies?
2.should we wait until it happens with the exchange you using?
