A lot is going on with the cryptocurrency Bitcoin. But it is unfair to compare Bitcoin with the Tulip Mania.
The Tulip Mania lasted from 1634 to 1637 with its peak in 1636 when it burst in 1637. The bulb was traded on the Dutch stock Exchanges and encouraged the Dutch people to speculate in the markets. The fancy tulip was highly valued where one could sell a bulb to buy an estate, but it collapsed dramatically in 1637.
Bitcoin is around since 2009 and its value is growing exponentially.
The year 2018 is looking prosperous for cryptocurrencies.
