Having spent the last 18 years working in the UK, my world suddenly came to an end 2 years ago when the Oil & Gas crisis hit the UK and I found that I was out of a job with no savings as just getting married the month before. Over the last 2 years I've found some ways the normal people (by normal I mean people who aren't rich) can make some extra money on the sidelines with very little or no investment.
Quidco - Quidco is a cashback website that is very easy to use and withdrawal your money from. It gives you cashback on your purchases that you were going to buy anyway e.g.
I just bought a TV from Argos (which I was going to buy anyway) I used quidco to get £5.79 back in cashback.
Car Insurance (which I was going to buy anyway) I used quidco to get £28.60 back in cashback.
Total Cashback from Quidco has been over £2000 in just over 5 years.
Ratesetter
Ratesetter is a peer to peer lending site which you can open from £10, the principal is you lend your money to individuals or businesses and get a great return on it. They do all the hardwork so you don't do anything other than withdraw your money.
I am getting an average rate of 5.3% which is great. I choose to just reinvest my capital (£10) and also reinvest my interest which means i'm making interest on interest.
You can set it up to get your capital and interest back or to just take your interest which makes for a nice little income.
I started with £500 and its now worth £760
Hope these little things help
