The price of Bitcoin, the most admired digital crytpo-currency, has skyrocketed this year. According to Google currency calculator, bitcoins are currently trading for $2590.84 per coin. The price is an all-time record, and the amazing valuation blows earlier price spines out of the water. Bitcoins have more than doubled since the beginning of 2017, when they floated around $1,000 per coin.

So if you'd bought $1000 of Bitcoin (0.38 bitcoin) back in 2010, you'd be worth $36M (1410 bitcoin).
