I follow crypto world since it beings, we have a lot of up and downs... we're in the point where cryptos are getting mainstream and start to be showed in news and internet.
To me as always has three types of people that buys crypto...

• First: the person that basic gonna use for something (buy things or as easy currency converter)
• Second: the "HOLD", or holders, people that wanna buy cryptos as long time investment or some kind of secure money.
• Third: the short time investors, nowaday has lots of it, and they make this end of year price hush. They're here to win easy money and if drops too much they gonna get out.

Jan BTC and lots of other cryptos falls 40~50%... it's normal... it's called correction in investment terms... nothing up 400% in 6 months and stays upping forevers.
