Good evening, this is what happens in a country smothered in hyperinflation.

Have you seen the comparison between the size of the sun and the biggest stars in our galaxy?
Well

Basically, this is it. Our son is Venezuela, which one is big and providing heat to the rest of the planets (You know, as Venezuela being the one sharing and giving oil away like crazy)

And our hyperinflation is Arcturus... Abrasive, dangerous and lethal.

Well, let's not get too carried away. If you're not sure about the horrifiying situation in Venezuela, I'll give you a small example.

Our monthly income its about... 6$

Yes, Six dollars per month. Making impossible to live properly... So; what do we do? We have to look for different solutions in order to gain extra incomes (Making online courses, baking sales, taxi driving (for those who own a car), giving clases, cleaning houses). All of this for not leaving what's left of the country.

Some of those people, prefer to gain money in $ (Simply because 1$ is worth the 15$ of our income)
But; how do we generate it? let's face it , selling a cupcake won't provide you an income in $ so...

We mine Bitcoins... Why? Is fast, is "easy" and is a clear shot. People who invested in this cryptocoin right now is rich. And even richer in Venezuela.

Mining in Venezuela

Corruption is everywhere, in many things, jeopardizing almost every single commerce, store, garage sale. Destroying all possible rising situation in this country, from getting food to get medicines, or necessary things in order to have a normal life.

Having kids? NO Effing way.
Getting married? The same.
Getting a House? You need to be a druglord, or a very high-priced hooker to get that... or at least a good rent.

For getting our basic needs, covered we simply... mine bitcoins.

Facing the fact, that for some reason is illegal in my country (tax evasion, money laundry, cybercrime and others) makes it more dangerous; but if there's something more powerful than danger, is hunger... We, as human beings in a famine-filled place, we're driven by a hunger and survival instinct.

I don't care, I have to do something... Dude I gotta eat or i'll die

Is even worse if you have children, that they don't get the fact that your income won't even pay for a can of powder milk for them.

Mining places are very well hidden in MANY different parts of my country, because if the army finds them, they'll pay jail time, however, that hasn't stopped several large groups of people, using big places with a bunch of modified computers mining, for supporting a company or their families, people with critical diseases, children, and so on. Even in people's houses; they modify their computers and they start doing it while they cover their lil'ole 9 to 5 payed jobs, because that income can be used in a single medicine or ONE single article in the supermarket or grocery store.

And...

According to https://twitter.com/DolarToday?lang=es

1 $ ---- Bs. 136582,17.

If we make a conversion from BTC to BS. How much would that be?

The good news are that, bitcoin (as several cryptocoins) are rising, fast and strong. Making a LOT of people earn money, and making big investments, only to see their money multiplied.

I have read a lot about Venezuela's economic problems and how Cryptocurrency mining has taken off in your country. It is good to finally hear about it first hand from an actual Venezolano, though!

I have a few questions, if you don't mind:
*How do you handle Bitcoin's long confirmation times and high transaction fees?
*Do you use other cryptos like ethereum?
*Do you think the government-backed Petro will be taken seriously by your people?
*Does the average Venezolano know about, and use crypto to pay for things or is it more younger people? techies?

Many thanks for a post on a GREAT use case for crypto, and I look forward to hearing more about crypto's power to change lives!

I'm so gonna do a post with your questions... I'm very aware that many people knows what's going on in here... But to live it, is another level of disgrace (LOL).

If you could share my post, because I would love for more people such as yourself, can actually understand our position, and help us to be our voice

Thank you! <3

Sure. I'll definitely Resteem this, consider it done!

Living it... that must be hard! Perhaps we could do a Q&A (question and answer) interview and put it on dtube?

Thank you!! =)

About that Q&A... Would love it. when can we do it?
