No...no I did not. But it doesn't mean I will stop trying.
Sadly I am one of those newbies who jumped on the cryptocurrency wagon expecting to become an instantaneous millionaire. I forgot that the gold pot at the end of the rainbow requires travelling through some rain first. The struggle has been real. Inept at any sort of technological achievement, I can barely connect to wifi at times. Learning about the process of steemit gains and losses has been challenging. Moreover, there is more than just steemit coins to be concerned about. The conversation in online forums among cryptocurrency investors ranges from RIPPLE coin, ETHEREUM coin, ETHOS coin etc...
I have relied on Suppoman's Youtube videos to learn the basics about the existing coins out there and how to invest. I'm sorry, did I forget to mention the main source of the hype: BITCOIN BITCOIN BITCOIN !!!
I keep hearing and reading about these lucky souls paying off their student loans and purchasing brand new houses. Everyone I talk to brags about doubling their investment.
It seems everywhere I look cryptocurrency has changed banking traditions. People can now easily avoid taxation and send money across the network without being traced or taxed. Your crypto money can increase in value at very little expense to you.
SO far my strategy is to play the long game. Staring at the fluctuating coin value does no good for my stress levels. So my advice to my fellow newbies is to Keep calm and hodl!
