Is there an exchange with lower fees? I was paying 1.5% with them. Now it's 6%.

I know what you mean! Maybe look into Gemini or Kracken. I like that I can connect the Shift debit card to my Coinbase account, so I stay with them. I only keep a small fraction of Bitcoin with them, though. The rest is off line.
