It is never a good idea to go all in on one investment.

Yes, if you would have put in x amount of money in bitcoin x number of years ago you'd have x million dollars now. We all wish we did this and could retire early however, picking the next bitcoin or Apple etc can sometimes just be a matter of luck.

But, you can increase your chances of that lucky investment.

By putting smaller amounts of your portfolio into many different cryptos, stocks, bonds, and ETFs, you can help hedge risk and increase your chances of striking gold.

For example, you buy 1000 siacoin right now for $10, 1000 golem for $50, 1000 ripple for $30, and so on for many different alt coins. Then, you buy a bitcoin and maybe a couple ETH as they are the two "mainstream" cryptos and are the most likely to continue to succeed over the coming years. Finally, consider stocks, bonds, and ETFs for long-term security in your portfolio as the future for crypto's is promising but not certain.

If just one of those investments in 1000 shares of an alt coin hit $100 dollars a share, thats $100,000 you just made. And it is really not that unrealistic as several coins have now surpassed the $100 mark. So by spreading out smaller investments over 50 different crypto's, you're bound to come across one that will see a great increase in value over the coming years.

Avoiding FOMO and Holding

Too many people get FOMO and take short term profits to coin jump into the latest crypto bubble. In the LONG RUN those who hold are the ones that make the most just like those that held their bitcoin for all these years.

I am not a professional advisor and this is not something you should put all your money into. I am not responsible for any gains or losses this is just an opinionated article about what I think could happen.

I would also agree that too many people get caught up with FOMO, they're essentially why the bubble exist in the first place.

Exactly, people need to just buy and forget about it for a while

I agree with this philosophy. Wish I had all the coins now, that I have held over the years. I would be loaded. Buy and hold is the way to go. Just don't buy int he spike, buy in the dip.

Definitely, when things drop it is just buying at a discount
