I agree with you that every crypto-asset isn't delivering, particularly currency focused assets. I think the constant appreciation of value in currency in coins contradicts the original nature and intentions of the actual products. Nobody wants to spend something that will be worth more.

On the flip side, I do inherently believe that decentralized applications such as Ethereum do have a long-range future. It makes sense for there to be a cost to utilize the Ethereum network, a product which provides utility beyond commerce.
